Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation was carried out on land at Newtown Linford Lane, Groby, Leicestershire (SK 525 076) on the 7th June 2007. This work was in advance of the proposed construction of two barns and an access road and was carried out on behalf of Groby Farm Partnership by University of Leicester Archaeological Services. A total of four evaluation trenches were excavated. No archaeological finds or features were located.
