Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation consisting of the excavation of three trial trenches within the footprint of the proposed redevelopment. A possible historic field boundary was exposed in Trench 1, while Trenches 2 and 3 exposed natural features and deposits. A heavy degree of truncation was observed across the entire site due to earlier ground reduction and makeup probably relating to the c.1975 construction of the school buildings. No significant archaeological finds or features were observed. |
