Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief took place outside Leigh Garage, in the south carrriageway of Station Road and onto the southern kerb, during repair works to a 42' trunk main. No significant finds or features of archaeological importance were observed, and most of the area was truncated by the existing main, although stratified alluvial deposits were recorded on the northern side of the trench. |
