Abstract: |
An archaeological strip plan and record exercise was undertaken for Taylored Developments between the 12th and 18th of February 2008 in advance of two dwellings . The site of 0.1ha lies to the east of a probable Roman villa. Two small evaluation trenches were excavated and the foundation trenches for both plots were observed. Although no archaeological features were noted within the excavations two sherds of Grey ware and one tessera were recovered from the topsoil. |
