Abstract: |
The course of the river was recorded from its confluence with the River Lea in the N to its culverted end 340m to the SSE. Banks and structures were recorded where possible. Construction phases dating to the 1920s and 1930s were clearly evident from the presence of footbridges, a towing path bridge, cobbled surfaces and reveted banks. No earlier construction phases were recorded |
