Abstract: |
The barn at Bashall Hall is a large, six bay structure, which was standing by about 1720 but may be of earlier date, and was extended in about 1900. It has some architectural embellishment but contains no internal structures or fixtures and its roof is probably 19th century. Historic building recording was carried out to inform a planning application for the building's conversion, and this record includes measured drawings, photographs, and a written description supplemented by the results of historical research. |
