Abstract:
Archaeological investigations were carried out by Albion Archaeology between September and November 2006. Remains dating to the Roman, medieval, post-medieval and modern periods were revealed. Arguably the most significant reains were those associated with a putiative medieval moated site, located in the northern half of the development area. Other remains include a possible Roman trackway and the remains of the 18th and 20th century public house.
