Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	A second phase watching brief was carried out on parkland to the south of Barking Abbey. Hand augered window samples were monitored for ground contaminants; 30 to a maximum depth of 0.30m and 8 to a maximum of 0.50m. Several dump layers of 19th/20th century date were identified, no other archaeologically significant deposits were encountered.
