Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation was conducted for Mr. and Mrs Maxey ahead of construction of a single residence within the former kitchen garden of 55 Dowgate Road, Leverington, near Wisbech, Cambridgeshire. Evidence of post-medieval and medieval activity was found in the northern half of the site in Trench 1. Pits and ditches were present, overlaid by agricultural/horticultural 'furrows'.
