Abstract:		 A trial trench evaluation was carried out on land at Westgate House, Westgate Street, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. The works were carried out on behalf of CgMs Consulting Ltd acting on behalf of Greene King Ltd. Trial trenching identified a number of features associated with post-medieval structures and land use, some of which may potentially have their origin in the medieval period.
