Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief was carried out during work to expand and refurbish a play area within the earthworks of a Scheduled Monument known as 'The Fish Ponds' in Castlethorpe, Buckinghamshire. The groundworks did not encounter any archaeological features. Remedial work to repair erosion to the earthworks and damage caused by animals was also carried out.
