Abstract:		 South West Archaeology Limited undertook a desk-based assessment, geophysical survey and visual impact assessment at Lundy View Farm, Hallworthy, a small hamlet in Davidstow parish, to investigate and record any archaeological features and material potentially affected by the installation of a 20kw wind turbine on the site and to inform any future planning application for the same. Subsequently South West Archaeology Limited monitored the excavation of the footing for the wind turbine and a 0.45m wide cable trench. No features were revealed, although an area of concentrated compact shillet in the weathered natural did coincide with a previously identified geophysical anomaly and the line of a banked field boundary removed in the 1970's.
