Abstract: |
An archaeological trench evaluation was carried out within the footprint of Exeter Science Park Drive South, a new road serving the the forthcoming science park. Five trenches were excavated, targetting anomalies identified by a previous geophysical survey. A small number of ditches were exposed, the rmajority of which represented elements of a post-medieval field system. A further ditch, which was undated, is likely to represent an earlier field division. |
