Abstract: |
A single trial trench 15m long by 1.6m wide was excavated on the proposed site of a new house in gardens west of 168 Norwood Road, March. The site lay in close proximity to previous finds of Bronze Age, Iron Age and Roman date. At 168 Norwood Road, geological deposits were reached at shallow depth. There was no evidence of significant archaeological remains. |
