Abstract: |
NR 88826 85536 A watching brief was kept during excavations for the replacement of a pole on this overhead line. The pole stood on a natural mound close to the former township of Tomban. An area measuring 12m by 4m on the top of the mound was stripped of topsoil to allow a mechanical excavator to dig the trench. Nothing of archaeological significance was uncovered during excavation. |
