Abstract: |
A 5% intrusive archaeological evaluation was carried out on a proposed extension to Thirstone Quarry, South Lanarkshire. The archaeological works were designed to mitigate the impact on the archaeological remains within the development area. No significant archaeology was uncovered, what was uncovered was the site of commercial and household waste. Based on this, we have recommended that no further works are required within this area of the development. |
