Abstract:		 A programme of archaeological investigation works was carried out for Fife Council in respect to proposed extension of the existing Dunfermline Library and Museum across their car park. The evaluation comprised five trenches in carpark area which recorded the presence of significant archaeological structures and deposits. These included a probable medieval culvert, medieval wall foundations and an artefact rich medieval palaeosol which produced medieval pottery and a bone comb.
