The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 The investigation of an evaluation trench excavated next to the southern face of Olchon Court prior to proposed building work. A trench measuring 3m by 2m was excavated by hand. Immediately below the topsoil was a cut containing a modern foul water drain. This had cut through a layer of densly packed rubble dating from the 17th to mid 18th century. This in-turn overlay the hard natural clay. Despite the proximity of the excavation to the historic building, the area appears to have been levelled or terraced during periods of re-development during the post-medieval period.
