Abstract: |
Headland Archaeology undertook a watching brief and archive assessment on the site of a proposed single wind turbine at West Fenton Farm South, East Lothian. The work was undertaken on behalf of W Courtenay Morrison and Co in order to meet a condition of planning. The watching brief uncovered the remains of an abandoned rough cobbled track directly beneath the topsoil. This track is shown on the 1854 Ordnance Survey 1st edition map and ran alongside the adjacent field boundary. No other archaeological features were encountered. |
