Abstract: |
A programme of trial trenching was commisioned by URS in response to a arcaheological planning condition for the development of residential housing at Alloa Academy, Alloa. A total of 26 trenches were excavated across the site. These revealed a significant number of 19th 20th century field drains but no further features or artefacts of archaeological significance. metal detecting of the area produced a small assemblage of 19th/20th century meatl work of little significance. |
