Abstract: |
Headland Archaeology (UK) Ltd were commissioned by Amey Consulting acting on behalf of Herefordshire Council, in respect of a planning application (DMS/112395/CD) for the installation of a flood alleviation pond relating to the development of the former Rotherwas Armory site. The planning authority requested an assessment of the impact on the significance of any previously unknown heritage assets within the footprint of the proposed scheme. This was to be achieved by means of a regular series of monitoring visits, assessing the ground works during this phase of the project. |
