Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief was carried out at The Manor House, Uckfield during groundworks involving a new single storey extension. A single archaeological feature of possible 18th century date was recorded, and a limited range of Post Medieval artefacts and Mesolithic worked flint was recovered during the watching brief.
