Abstract: |
A trial trenching evaluation was carried out to the north and south of the re-opened Armadale Station. This includes land that was formerly part of Trees Farm and Tarrareoch Farm. Seventy-nine trenches were opened comprising 5231m sq. Cultivation furrows were recorded in most of the trenches. A small building, roofed on the First Edition map, was recorded close to Trees Farm. Other trenches located a curving ditch, a trackway and a pit. |
