Abstract:		 A watching brief was carried out to the north-east of Kinross where a new water pipeline crosses the location of a cartographic feature presumed to be associated with a tunnel which is assumed to be part of Lethangie Ice-House. The upper portion of a flight of steps was exposed which formerly led into the tunnel. Map evidence suggests these steps were filled in between 1896 and 1915.
