Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken after the demolition of the buildings within the site, to target the possible route of the Aberdeenshire Canal. Four trenches were excavated, covering 5% of the overall development area, and concentrating on areas not built upon. It is unlikely that any further archaeological monitoring will be required during any future groundworks on site. This is subject to advice from the Lead Curator of Local History and Archaeology at Aberdeen City Council. |
