The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 The evaluation revealed a 10th/11th-century pit or well, from which was recovered a small quantity of pottery, mostly Stamford Ware, animal bone, mollusc shell and charred plant remains. A posthole and two gullies, probably of a similar date, and an undated ditch were also encountered. The ground had been disturbed on the west side of the plot, possibly during the construction of a tennis court.
