Abstract:		 Northamptonshire Archaeology carried out an evaluation on land to the rear of 137-199 Asfordby Road, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. Two trenches produced evidence of Iron Age occupation with a large enclosure ditch and parallel gullies producing pottery and animal bone.
