Abstract:		 In April 2008, Northamptonshire Archaeology was commissioned by the Forestry Commission to carry out a walkover survey in Wardley Wood, Rutland. A number of features were noted, including a well-preserved mound, a series of woodland earthworks, drainage ditches and an area of ridge and furrow.
