Abstract: |
In September 2009, an archaeological trial excavation was undertaken by Northamptonshire Archaeology, on behalf of The Providence Partnership, on land at The Old Forge, North Marston, Buckinghamshire. Two trenches, one 4m long, 3m wide and one 4.2m long and 3.2m wide were excavated. There were no significant archaeological deposits features. A small quantity of pottery suggests that activity on the site began in the post-medieval period. |
