Abstract: |
An archaeological trial trench evaluation was carried out by Northamptonshire Archaeology during June 2010 prior to the construction of a neurological care unit on land at Bretton Way, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. The evaluation identified a number of Roman ditches which produced pottery and coins dating to the 3rd to 4th centuries AD. Concrete strip foundations and modern drainage were found across the site. |
