Abstract:
Archaeological mitigation works at Duke Street took place in phases from 6th March to 12th June 2012 for Cruden Estates Ltd prior to housing development. Archaeological monitoring of various excavation works took place on site to mitigate any potentially significant archaeological remains on site prior to the construction of a residential development. No significant archaeological remains were found; those found relate to use of the site from late 18th, 19th and 20th centuries.
