Abstract:		 In October 2011, an archaeological trial trench evaluation was carried out by Northamptonshire Archaeology, on behalf of CgMs Consulting, on land at Lubenham Hill, Market Harborough, Leicestershire. The works identified isolated enclosures of possible late Iron Age date. To the north and east of these was a more extensive complex of Romano-British enclosures which were probably in use from the late 1st - 4th centuries AD. There was evidence of internal features within some of the enclosures and the finds were consistent with that of a medium status rural agricultural settlement. The site was traversed by remnant furrows of medieval ridge and furrow cultivation.
