Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation was undertaken in relation to a proposed quarry extension at Jericho Bridge Quarry, Locharbriggs, Dumfries and Galloway. The evaluation required an 8% trenching sample of the 1.77 hectare development area. A total of 8 trenches of varying lengths and alignments were excavated totalling 1420 m2 (total basal dimensions). Neither significant archaeological features nor artefacts were encountered.
