Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out on all below ground excavations associated with the construction of a new vestry and disabled access ramp. A moderate assemblage of disarticulated human bone was recovered from two of the vestry foundation trenches and will be reburied in the new foundations of the vestry. A linear cut feature recorded in the northern foundation trench may represent an earlier graveyard boundary line. Nothing relating to the earlier church on the site was recovered. |
