Abstract: |
In September 2009 Archaeological Services and Consultancy Ltd (ASC) carried out an excavation on land to the rear of 43 Hollow Lane, Ramsey, Cambridgeshire. A previous evaluation of the site by ASC had suggested the presence of at least one ditch and possibly three others, along with a number of smaller features (Wilson 2008). Finds from the ditch fill included fragments of worked stone, probably originating from the nearby abbey, and vitrified bricks which may have been part of a kiln or |
