Abstract:		 Allen Archaeology Limited was commissioned to undertake an archaeological monitoring and recording for the construction of an extension and porch at 23 Hill View, Buckland. The site lies within an area of archaeological significance which includes the medieval and later settlement of Buckland. Within the footings of the new extension a total of five post-medieval features were recorded, including two potential ditches, two pits and the demolished 1960s-70s brick outbuilding.
