Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief was requierd during ground breaking works due to the possible survival of arcaeological remains associated with the 18th Century Aberdeen to Inverurie Canal, which lay adjacent to the eastern side of the development. No significant archaeological remains were noted during the ground breaking works.
