Abstract: |
Geophysical survey of land at The Goat, Cockermouth, Cumbria. The most notable features detected by the geophysical survey were a series of linear magnetic anomolies in Area 3, interpreted as the remains of medieval ridge and furrow cultivation, the furrows of which are believed to survive beneath the cricket ground. |
