Abstract: |
The barn at Cloughs (or Cloughs Farm) is a three bay combination barn which adjoins the farmhouse to form a linear range at this outlying site, which was probably established in the eighteenth century. The barn is stone-built and retains part of an internal oak-framed shippon, typical of the district, but is otherwise unremarkable. The barn was recorded to fulfil a condition of planning consent for its conversion. |
