The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 28 evaluation trenches confirmed the presence of archaeological features on the site mostly as previously identified by geophysical survey. Most of the linear features were undated though some correspond with boundaries present on 19th century maps. However, a probable trackway was identified which was dated to the later Roman period. Relatively few artefacts were recovered and no features recorded other than linear ones. It is considered that these features are parts of enclosed agrarian landscape of Roman and perhaps other periods, but which are located away from core settlement areas.
