Abstract:		 Headland Archaeology Ltd undertook archaeological monitoring of groundworks associated with the proposed biomass energy centre at Heathencote Farm, Heathencote, Northants in order to provide information on its archaeological potential. No significant archaeological remains or finds were revealed. c.0.5m of modern made ground deposits overlay the natural boulder clay, as well as one modern pit.
