The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 A geophysical (magnetometer) survey covering approximately 0.5 hectares was carried out adjacent to The George Hotel, Chollerford in advance of the determination of a planning application for a proposed housing development by Archaeological Services WYAS during February 2013. The data is characterised by very strong magnetic responses indicative of ferrous contamination and geological variation. No anomalies of archaeological potential have been identified and therefore, based on the results of the survey, the site is considered to have a low archaeological potential.
