Abstract:		 This report documents the results of an archaeological evaluation at Rogers Road, Swaffham Prior, Cambridgeshire. Five fifty metre long trenches were machine excavated, revealing a single ditch and pit, which produced finds. The northeast-southwest aligned ditch contained a sherd of late Saxon pottery, whereas the pit contained medieval pottery and a large quantity of burned flint. The nature and scarcity of features would suggest their function was connected to drainage, clearance and delineation of agricultural land with a low population density.
