Abstract: |
Northamptonshire Archaeology (NA) was commissioned by Prospect Archaeology to carry out archaeological trial trenching on a proposed development site at land off Boot Lane, Dunton, Bedfordshire. All seven trenches were excavated. Remnant furrows of medieval ridge and furrow field cultivation were visible in most trenches. There was evidence of the northern reach of possible post-medieval clay pits. Two ditches of probable hedge lines and old tree throws were also recorded. |
