The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 This Archaeological and Heritage Desk-Based Assessment was prepared inform a planning application for a proposed new food store and associated highways works at the former Steart Farm, Lower New Road, Cheddar. Pottery sherds of Romano-British date have been recorded within the development site area. Given the presence of pottery and the location close to other recorded remains such as the villa the potential for further previously unrecorded remains is high. A programme of further evaluation was proposed.
