Abstract:
AOC Archaeology Group was commissioned by Mr. R. Drysdale to undertake an archaeological evaluation on a private housing development at Old Cambus Village (NT 8055 6946) near Cockburnspath in the Scottish Borders. The development area consists of 500 square metres of agricultural land overlooking the North Sea. In total 1 trench totalling 50 m2 was excavated. Despite the proximity of the Medieval settlement at Old Cambus no significant archaeological remains or artefacts were uncovered
