The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 A geophysical (magnetometer) survey covering approximately 9 hectares was carried out on agricultural land north of Ling Road, Loughborough, to provide an evaluation of the archaeological potential of the site prior to a proposed development. The anomalies identified generally correspond to features depicted on the first edition Ordnance Survey map (1884) and are consistent with the 19th and 20th century agricultural landscape. Anomalies due to service pipes and geological variation have also been mapped. No anomalies of archaeological potential have been identified. Therefore, on the basis of the geophysical survey, the site is considered to be of low archaeological potential.
