Abstract: |
This Report represents a statement on the archaeological evaluation carried out at Houghton primary school Cambridgeshire TL 2807 7215 in October 2008. The archaeological work undertaken by Oxford Archaeology East was in advance of the construction of four new classrooms on what is currently a playground. The archaeological evaluation produced features in the form of pits and ditches and finds both ceramic and metallic dating from the medieval period. |
