Abstract:		 300 metres of evaluation trench were excavated through deep deposits of modern backfill and wartime factory floor deposits in land adgacent to a revious open area excavation which revealed the presence of prehistoric, romano-british and nedieval occupation and land use. The trenches contained the remnants of a medieval routeway as well as demonstrating large quantities of modern truncation
