The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 Analysis by dendrochronology of cores taken from the suitable timbers of the cruck truss at Lower Hope Farmhouse has resulted in the production of a single site chronology. This site chronology, comprising all four samples obtained, has an overall length of 82 rings, these rings dated as spanning the years 1292-1373. Interpretation of the sapwood on the dated samples would indicate that the trees used for this cruck truss were probably all cut as part of a single episode of felling in the spring of 1374.
